On completing her Fine Art degree Madeleine set about teaching herself silver and goldsmithing from scratch, over time she has developed a unique and exciting style that celebrates the visual and social value of Handmade, making wearable art for those who appreciate the evidence of the hands of the artisan jeweller.

Recycling gold and silver by melting down old, broken or unwanted jewellery is the starting point for Madeleine’s creative process. She then uses both traditional and experimental metal smithing techniques to create new pieces of artisan jewellery full of visible story telling detail.
